JP's Quote to Live By

Hearpreneur recently asked modern entrepreneurs to disclose their favorite business quotes--the mantras by which they live and work. Among them was JP Jones, who jumped in with her number one quote by Thomas Edison:

"We often miss opportunity because it's dressed in overalls and looks like work."

JP insists that she looks to this quote so often that she had it painted on her wall! Now all who enter her office are reminded of the timeless advice from one of America's greatest revolutionaries.

JP Interviewed by Entrepreneur Wilderness

JP was recently featured on Entrepreneur Wilderness, a radio show started by London native Oyenu Olugbala with the purpose of discovering what other people are going through in the pursuit of success.

In her interview, JP was asked to prescribe advice to someone looking to start their path to entrepreneurship. Her response was as follows:

"Just stick with it when it gets tough. In the beginning it's new and fresh...but as you get into it, it becomes more work. Ultimately, there's a lot of responsibility that's involved in it."

Although starting a small business from the ground up may be scary, JP assures listeners that although some days can be "nitty-gritty", other days make it all worth the endeavor.

"The start-up required tons of time and attention, but wasn't providing enough income in the early years to be full-time employment for me and my co-founder." Read the full article here
